...the starter isn't engaging when I turn key. Lights and dash all power up fine just when I turn the key nothing. One weird thing, when I tried the remote start to start the car, I got the same thing (starter didn't engage) but then the car's electrical got a little weird, interior and dash lights acted a little wonky, it tried several times to remote start off the one time I pressed the button on my key fob. Not sure what that means (short somewhere?).

My car is a 2009 Saturn Vue XE with about 155K on it.
