I’m 14 months into this mess and so tired of dealing with Workers Comp. The injury happened at work so the file was claimed and once that happened I couldn’t even pay out of pocket to go to a doctor of my choosing.

First doctor apparently went in and scoped the knee from what he saw and thought was the problem. Found at when I arrived for surgery it was his last day and he was moving. 4 months of physical therapy later, they sent me back to the the doctor because something was still “mechanically wrong”.

2nd doctor recommended doing a Lateral Release surgery. Retired military buddy of mine later informed me that they stopped doing that surgery because everyone that got it was never cleared back for active duty. He dismissed anything I or the PT said and all his nurses started to leave him for other jobs due to his horrible attitude. The 3 physical therapist said that they felt we were just aggravating it but that they couldn’t tell the doctor what to do. I finally had to ask for a new doctor(which you can only do once).

Saw the 3rd doctor today. He requested more detailed imaging and thinks that the initial doctor missed it and the second surgery should never have happened. He stated that it complicated everything and made the knee even more unstable.

Hoping this doctor can help resolve things. My quality of life has been rough for the last 14 months. My family is tired of dad not being able to do much.
