Which seems weird. I like the sport, but I'm not sure I'd watch it. The appeal of pickleball is that anyone can play it ... but do we want to just watch anyone else play it? I don't think so.

Unless ... what if pickleball became the sport that athletes in their 50s retired to play? It'd be pretty cool to watch former NBA, MLB, tennis, and Football stars square off on the ol' pickleball court. Reliving old rivalries, seeing if they still have the juice!
