What are the under the table messages we can take from this first schedule?
Does it mean anything if BYU gets “big name teams” in Provo? I’m talking TX, OU, TCU, and I guess a few others?
What if we get none of them in Provo?
Based on the late release we can believe they were tweaking things… making concessions, putting it to OU and TX, and trying to line things up in particular ways…
Who benefits the most and least? This schedule might show the pecking order in a new league that is currently pretty even.
I’m most interested in this question… and it might not show anything because there is no real big dog among these teams/schools… yet
