This is what Utah fans tell themselves but it's not true. The pecking order is surely Oregon/Washington > ASU/Arizona

> Then Utah/Colorado. I dont think the Big12 wants 6 new teams. I'm actually not even sure how Utah fans could even reasonably feel like they have a sure landing spot in the Big12. If the pac12 can't get a deal done, Oregon/Washington will join the Big12. Then ASU/Arizona would absolutely follow.

The chances that Utah is in some kind of leftover pac6/MWC conference is much higher than the chance they're in the Big12.
