This would be a legit huge get - he'd be our highest rated recruit who isn't LDS, local or legacy since....maybe ever?
We've gotten high end recruits before (Jackson Bowers and Siale Esera rate ahead of Martin, just in this class. Aisea Moa was higher in the last class)
And we've gotten non-LDS, non-Utah, non-legacy recruits who've turned out to be good (credit our scouting or player development)
But the last 4-star recruit to sign with BYU without being LDS, local or legacy is...Walter Williams (and he might be LDS). And that's it going back to when the recruiting rating era really started
