Back when I was in my youth, my YM leaders asked our quorum what they'd like to do for a midweek activity. The Wednesday we were discussing happened to be February 2, so I suggested we watch Groundhog Day. My family owned the VHS copy, so I invited everyone to my house.

Popcorn was popped, couch cushions were settled, play button was pushed.

Thing is, nobody thought it was funny. My leaders were offended by the Bible swears, and the scene with Nancy by the fireplace? Hoo boy.

At one point my YM leader turned to me and said in complete sincerity, "Ham is this really the kind of entertainment you watch with your family?"
