cracked. They said that our account had been canceled over 2 years ago due to non-payment, which was news to me because 1) We were supposed to be on an autopay program with a card on file, 2) We never got anything from them in the mail or email about a payment being overdue or the autopay being stopped, and 3) They have continued to collect our trash every week.

But sure enough, I looked and no charges on the card. So I guess I got free trash service for 2 years. For a $60 past due balance plus another $60 payment for this quarter, now I'm right with the trash company and with God.
