In this scenario, the Big 12 gets big time brands in OU and UW, and a big time market in AZ. We also can begin to put distance between us and our biggest recruiting competition in Utah because Utah would be relegated to MWC 2.0. It also creates a situation where adding Gonzaga makes sense because of an already existent presence in the northwest, creating 6 very good basketball schools in the west.
Edit: some of you seem to have forgotten Yormark’s repeated insistence of getting into the fourth time zone (I.e. Pacific). I believe he intends to get into that time zone, because he has said repeatedly that he intends to get into that time zone.

It's not writing on the wall. Utah is in a great spot. Either P12 stays together or Utah jumps to Big 12.
