One really rich retort from snobby P5 fans is that BYU will go 2-10 or 3-9 or 4-8 next year as though that's something
that 4-5 teams in each one of their conferences does not do every single year. So what's their excuse? They've had the money, prestige, P5 resources, massive recruiting advantages, often extreme location advantages in hot beds for some of the best talent in the country. Yet almost all of them pretty frequently have crap seasons and 1/3+ of all P5 conferences every year are full of crap teams that do essentially nothing with it all.

OK, so maybe BYU goes 5-7 or 6-6 in year one. So? What's wrong with the rest of you?

BYU being 6-1 vs your vaunted PAC-12 teams the past 2 seasons, while supposedly still being unworthy or destined for beatdowns, simply makes your 2 dynasty bowl losses look even worse.

Irony much?
