Some good points, but that first video is a lot of apples to oranges
He's often comparing luxury goods, or products that are not mainstream consumer to actual mainstream consumer goods in the 80s and 90s. Of course they'll be different. If he compared actual SLRs, like a Canon AE-1 to the older cameras he was showing, it would fit right in. Metal body with beautiful glass lenses in metal housings. Of course a consumer grade plastic Vivitar automatic camera looks out of place. And the cars he shows, which probably weren't the Toyota Yaris of their day, he should compare with a Chevy Tahoe or Volvo sedan or Jeep Grand Cherokee. All of those will drive better, be more reliable, and are safer and more comfortable than the most any car from 60-70 years prior.

But..yeah, his video showing the TikTok culture is solid.
