The way I am reading this is that now we find that in addition they need to add to schools to qualify for that $250 million contract. This changes the math dramatically. Now instead of dividing by 11 you divide by 13.
That means that the contract will be in the ballpark of 19,200,000 per school per year.
That is the number that we should compare against the 32 million per school the big 12 gets. With that disparity there is no way to keep teams like Oregon Washington Arizona and Arizona state happy when they have options
