I have mixed feelings about this. On the plus side - this hopefully shows that Disney is investing in the theatrical experience and not just producing content only for Disney+. It doesn't indicate in the article that these are for theatrical release and streaming later... but it is implied. I am a huge proponent of keeping theatrical alive, so this is good news.
I think a sequel to Zootopia is warranted. I enjoyed the movie and it made huge $$ overseas. It may not be my favorite original Disney animated movie, but it was very entertaining, and deserves a sequel. If done well, I'm fine with Frozen as well... but not sure where they'll take the story after Frozen 2.
Toy Story is a different animal. I actually enjoyed Toy Story 4 than many here on CB, but I also feel that the original trilogy is one of the best trilogies in all of film and can't be touched. The more they try and milk the Toy Story cow the more they risk sullying a very strong brand.
