As CA residents and dependents of a military vet (me), my kids can go to any instate college or university tuition free. It’s a pretty awesome deal for families of vets that CA offers. That said, I would gladly pay tuition for my daughter to attend BYU. As of now, she would rather stay in CA despite her parents’ best efforts.

Any suggestions re campuses, living environment, YSA type stuff, etc that any of you have experience with? I doubt she’ll get into UCLA, Berkeley, UCSD or cal poly slo, so more interested in your thoughts on the others.

I know we have a lot of current and ex CA people on the board, so appreciate any thoughts you may have.
