The Big12 hired a firm and launched a media campaign to destabilize the PAC. Dodd was writing his 4th article of the month with intentionally false and misleading information that was designed to influence teams towards joining the Big12. This was happening while the PAC was apparently trying to stick together and make things work.

No one wants in the Big12 as first choice or it would have happened already. It was the constant flow of false information that drove Harlan to post that.
