I'll be going to Maui with my 4 youngest children next week
I'll confess that it's more relaxing when my wife and I going on vacation without them, but it will still be great.
It's so relaxing.
I'm also very fortunate that my 4 youngest children are normally very easy to be around.

Maybe his wife needs to feel like she has control to avoid unknowns. Some people don't deal well with unknowns.
