The PAC 12 didn’t ever dream of going beyond 12. And they got greedy and failed to do their own network the right way. It should have been about distribution and NOT owning the network.

They’re about to blunder their way into having a significant percentage of streaming as a major part of the media deal. Eventually someone else will come along and be the second mouse. But the PAC will surely screw it up and harm their league’s visibility and viability in the process.
