I don’t think that’s the consensus at all
I think the consensus pretty clearly is that they want to go where they make the most money, and have the best opportunity to be relevant.
The pac cannot provide that. When you miss characterize other peoples positions, and then argue against the position you created, that’s called a strawman and you use it often.
