take their sweet time whittling down the 30 schools that reach out to them unless they already had their destination in mind. So nothing wrong with playing that game to see who might be interested. That should give you enough time to see most of the guys jump in the portal that will be.

But I also think BYU should take certain guys when you have a position of need and they are good(as in already producing in D1 or look high potential) and maybe reaching out to BYU...so BYU could get them immediately....but BYU's like....I think we can do a little better. Yeah, maybe, but the ultimate portal whiff is not addressing needs...not necessarily not luring huge names.
