Maybe of all the men who applied, he had the best tryout?
I honestly don't care. If there are others who deserved it more than him and were left off because of him, that is their deal and they can sue the school if they feel so inclined. Reality is that on any team there is always a cutoff, and always people who feel like they are at least as good as the worst person on the team and should have a spot instead of them.
I just think it's weird that BYU fans care about what Utah does with their cheer squad. Let them decide how they pick who they pick. Like I said, I really don't care.
