Boxing is clearly a sport and yet has instances where the winner is determined by judges. One boxer loses and the other is “winner by decision.”

Many Olympic sports have winners determined by judges: snowboarding, skiing, etc.

I don’t think the existence of judges should be a criterion in judging whether something is a sport.

Dancing isn’t a sport because it’s not a game or a race. Dancing is more like a competitive piano competition than a track meet.
