The Jazz needed a guy (Olynyk) that could ease the way in for Kessler. Absolutely did not want to throw Kessler into the fire too soon.

Bojan is overrated by many IMO. He's a very good 3pt shooter but that's all. He's below average in every other aspect. Plus he's older and injured too much. Detroit didn't exactly re-sign him to any amazing contract.
