Boeing attorneys: 737 Max victims did not feel pain.
Under Illinois law, damages can be paid if the victims experienced “ conscious pain or suffering”.
The lawyers argue that since death was instantaneous, the passengers did not have time to suffer and therefore that facet of determining damages should not be considered.
