The sad things is that deals have been presented to the presidents and they couldn’t agree on them. Yes, it has been a circus but it’s not as bad as what the Big 12 and the media members describe. Certain presidents look at academics more than athletics.
Honestly the PAC and ACC do not care what is happening in the Big 12. That’s not who they are worried about nor are they interested in working with them. To think that the ACC and PAC will be sitting there waiting for the SEC & BIG to pounce is stupid. They might not agree, but they all agree that $30+ Mil a year deficit is not good for any institution in their conference. They are focused on 5-7 years from now. They will put a bandaid on the current situation which will come forth within a couple of weeks and then position for the long term stability. Both conferences gain from a merger.
