grader to have his own cell phone. My son and daughter have GIZMO watch and they work perfect for when we do need to get ahold of them. A couple of their friends also have their own Instagram accounts which blows my mind and maybe I'm weird but it makes me hesitant to let my son go over to those friends houses because it doesn't seem like the parents really monitor their phones. I personally think you're doing your kid a disservice in the long run by letting them get a phone so early. Kids need to spend less time on electronics and more time being outside just being a kid.
