they will need to get Amazon and Apple to pony up something, in addition to the ESPN deal. It might work if they can get the partners to agree as to who gets to show the really good inventory.

Total guess, but I think they could maybe get $50m each from Amazon and Apple for a "Game of the Week" streaming deal *maybe* but then what will ESPN give them for what's left? It needs to be $250m to get them to the B12's number (11 shares-- 10 teams plus the conference share). I just don't see the math working out in terms of guaranteed money.

However, I *could* see some kind of "teams keep most of their own playoff money" plus maybe an incentive package based on how many paid streams getting them there. That's my guess. They will come out with a deal using ESPN plus the P12 Network equipment and facilities to produce and stream 2 Games of the Week in HD, which they will announce *could* or "is projected to" pay them $32m (or heck, since it is projection based, why not just make it sound even better at $40m) per team but is based on basically a PPV streaming rev share model and in actuality won't pay much more than $25m IMO.
