Robbins could have hit media with interviews to leverage GK.

Wilner paints his comments with optimism, but the AZ Pres literally admitted that he is evaluating conference affiliation based on the outcome of the PAC deal.

The alternate view is that Robbins wanted it out there that he expects a deal that is 50% linear. He expects exposure and a number near the Big12 deal. Could be he is concerned GK is gravitating towards a streaming deal and focusing primarily on revenue.

I think there is a shot over the bow statement couched in his attempts to show hope for the PAC situation working out.

Wilner is all rose colored glasses at this point. The fact that the AZ Pres admitted conference affiliation was on the table should have been a red flag… but not to the PAC media fan club.
