But I did also get on the list for the Aptera. It is an awkward looking 2 seater but I think would be more useful for my family than an electric truck. We can tow or haul with our current pick up. We can road trip comfortably in our Jeep. But this would cover so many of our around town trips and would make a great 4th car (we’ll have 4 drivers in another year). I guess insurance rates and potentially needing a motorcycle endorsement could change things but we will see.

Reservations are $100 but I found the link below for $70. Maybe Aptera won’t see the light of day but it is intriguing enough that I’ll roll the dice with $70.
