apparently schools can no longer fundraise due to some new laws? (thats news to me)

Last year there were funds to send the kids and the kids only had to contribute a manageable amount.

This year the teachers over the program are saying that there wasn't the funding this year and their hands are tied on fundraising and we can't send our kids individually. Its an all or nothing deal.

So, only option is if parents can fundraise without the school to raise $25k for all kids to go. Oh, and we only have until Friday before the deadline to commit to the Nationals organization that we are going.

I am planning to contribute a decent amount towards that but not sure how many other parents have the ability to chip in enough.

Its a long shot, but any other companies out there willing to sponsor some amazing tech kids who worked extremely hard to earn this amazing opportunity?
