Kdubb 3rd String
Portal update 3/23- Dalton Knecht, Josiah Allick, Joseph Yusefu and more

6’10” 232 lbs sophomore, Clemson
3 star recruit with multiple high major offers. Was caught behind PJ Hall, a star for Clemson.

6’8”, 210 lbs freshman, Eastern Illinois
Not particularly incredible numbers, but just a freshman who averaged 2 steals per game on 23.6 minutes per game at the forward spot.

6’0” 165 lbs senior, Vermont
11.6 ppg, 40.3 3p%
Played for one of the most successful low major programs for the past 4 years, putting together a strong senior season from behind the arc. Should be a starter for a mid major or key role player for a high major.

6’6” 200 lbs senior, Northern Colorado
20.2 ppg, 7.2 rebs, 47.9 fg%, 38.1 3p%
Top 25 scorer in D1 and great on the boards for a guard. Should get plenty of high major looks.

5’10” 170 lbs sophomore, Southern Indiana
15.6 ppg, 2.4 rebs, 3.5 asts, 46.3 fg%, 42.3 3p%
Top scorer for a team that just moved up from D2 and was a respectable 16-17 in their first season.

6’4” 175 lbs sophomore, LSU
Top 100 recruit in 2021, but has not played well or efficiently in 2 years at LSU.

6’8” 235 lbs senior, New Mexico
8.4 ppg, 7.3 rebs, 55.7 fg%
Allick is transferring for his final season of basketball. BYU was one of his finalists when he transferred from UMKC last year, so I’d expect we will be in the mix again. Similar game to Caleb Lohner. His 3 point shot fell off last year (15.8 3p%) which was unfortunate after 2 seasons of 35%+.

6’7” 190 lbs sophomore, Arizona
4 star recruit who had a couple quality showings early, but fell out of the rotation for the wildcats mid season.

6’0” 180 lbs junior, Kansas
Transferred to Kansas after a stellar conclusion to a 20-21 season with a Drake team that made the tournament. He had limited minutes in two seasons with the Jayhawks, and couldn’t make the most of those as his efficiency took a dive in the minutes he did hold.

6’2” 170 lbs sophomore, South Dakota
11.7 ppg, 2.6 asts, 41.6 3p%
Missed a whole year after a devastating leg injury. This was his come back season. Still pretty healthy metrics, but he clearly lost a step from his 20-21 season when he averaged 19 ppg and 3.9 asts. 88 ft% as well.

6’10” 235 lbs sophomore, Indiana
Top 100 recruit who was stuck behind Trayce Jackson-Davis.

6’3” 200 lbs junior, Rice
18.7 ppg, 5.9 rebs, 2.2 asts, 36.4 3p%

6’2” 180 lbs junior, eastern Illinois
14.4 ppg, 3.5 rebs, 2.7 asts, 50 fg%, 35.3 3p%
