sitting in my computer science class at Ricks College. We were each just given an email account and shown how to get onto the World Wide Web. One of the guys was talking about how he heard there is a website that someone at Harvard built that can tell you how much pop is left in the vending machine down the hall.
Most of us really couldn't see the vision of what this could be used for other than silly things like that. Those that did and ran with it, and . . . . well, the rest is history.
