Anybody else feel BYU has been validated lately?
Feels like sports media is starting to see what Utah, it’s fans and administration is really like. They are also showing their identity IS their PAC membership.

BYU’s identity is BYU. As rough as Indy was, they showed they can stand on their own, and add value on their own irrespective of anyone else. That’s an incredible thing.

Also, very validating to hear non BYU people talk in real terms about what value BYU brings to the table. We all knew the PAC passed on BYU for decades based on bigotry. It’s been so awesome to see those decision makers and their hubris, and their poor planning, and their bias all basically serve as the iceberg that will severely limit or sink them all together.

I like many of the individual institutions in the PAC. Served my mission in the Pacific Northwest and worked on a campus up there with great people. But this parade of stupidity has been super neato to watch unfold.
