I have speakers inside my helmet, which I think is way better for listening to music than earbuds. I was bombing down Milly bowl and ended up somersaulting a couple times. Tons of powder so no big deal - get up and keep going.

My music starting cutting out 5-10 seconds later, then got disconnected. I immediately check my front pocket where my phone is and it’s unzipped and empty. Swear words. And it’s only the 2nd run of the morning.

I hike about 50 yards up where I think I fell. Spent about 15 minutes hitting the phone finder ping on my watch until I finally heard it. Found it a few minutes later completely buried. Zero chance I would’ve found it on my own.
