A side benefit of a more aggressive defense at BYU
I listened to the Isaac Rex interview he gave last week and he mentioned off hand how the offense is feeling more stress this spring from playing against such an aggressive defense. It occurred to me that prior spring practices against the "drop eight" defensive schemes of the past didn't prepare the offense much for the blitzing disruptive type of defenses. In other words, if we have a better defense next year (hopefully) then we may also get different looks or improvements on offense because they have to practice against each other all year long.
