Yeah, I'd be open to that instead. There's clearly specifics to be worked out... but the basic framework is there
The concern would be if it were too few games or too low of $$$ it wouldn't be worth it for Hawaii. But I think 6 home games against P5 opponents is probably great for them.
I do think it makes more than $8M back though. Keep in mind that EVERY team playing Hawaii gets a Week 0 game, doesn't have to be Hawaii that week. So being able to show Auburn/Oregon in Week 0 with no other games opposing it? or Michigan/Washington? Or even Baylor/Utah or Florida/Utah? That's worth a lot.
