then they themselves have the problem. It's his life and his choice. BTW, don't a very large percentage now transfer at least once? Who is to say he doesn't get to his childhood dream program and then decide it's not all he thought it would be? Also, is he even 18 yet? I was still making dumb mistakes into my 20's so I will be very slow to criticize a 17 or 18-year-old (or younger) kid.
