Just went to lunch with a colleague who is considering buying a 4th car for her
23 year old daughter who has been in three wrecks in the last five years (all her fault) and totaled each car. My colleague (the mom) is still being sued for the 2nd accident where her daughter ran a red light and t-boned a mechanic who was driving someone else's car while testing the repairs from the shop. This mechanic has been out on worker's comp for three years.

Anyway, my colleague is such a sweetheart but a massive enabler. She feels guilty because she got divorced when her girls were young and has babied them ever since. She asked me, "What do you think, should I buy her a new car?"
