receiving yards twice is not the mark of a good receiver. He was the preferred target of 3 different QB's which also hurt continuity. I guess his abilities translated into less than your standards. He is objectively the second-best receiver of the 2010s (maybe a little down decade, but still an accomplishment) with Hoffman being #1. He
The reason I bring up placement is that you have it in your head that a go/fly route should be high pointing over his head. I am not sure why this is the measure of a receiver for you, as it is not the optimal route for high-pointing in that way and he got limited opportunities to do so.
He did get many opportunities at going up and taking balls away from people, which he frequently did. He DID have a lot of catches for us.
What I get from you more and more is someone who wants to be an expert, but is clearly not.
