Most of the Builtbar deal has been widely summarized in the media. Built's financial commitment to BYU football is not chump change. Let's just speak hypothetically for a moment -

-Let's assume 25-30 walkons. The roster is 130ish but that includes all kinds of shirts - redshirts, greyshirts, etc. 85 scholarships. Of the 30 walkons, let's assume that 20 are LDS and 10 are not members of the LDS faith.
— 20 walkons x $3,060 Fall = $61,200
— 10 walkons x $6,100 Fall = $61,000
— 85 scholarship players x $1,000 = $85,000

So for the Fall semester, lets hypothetically suggest a player investment of $207,000. That doesn't account for all of the free protein that Built provides the players in and around the program. Also doesn't account for the Built swag provided to every player and coach in the program. Let's say conservatively $240,000 for Fall semester.

Now repeat that for Winter semester. In this hypothetical scenario, Built is investing $500K per year in BYU's football program. Built does not cover tuition etc. in Spring and Summer but does have other related and committed NIL expenses. Built has never missed a payment.
