For men’s distance, this year all the signees so far have run sub 9 3200 and/or sub 4:08 1600.
This includes conversions from the 1500, 3k, mile and 2 mile since they didn’t all PR in a typical 1600 or 3200 distance. For example, Oregon runs the 1500 and 3k and invites usually will run a mile or 2 mile.
Really impressive group, especially the milers. And this was missing out on arguably the two biggest recruits this year in Gorze and Echohawk and Jenkins signing elsewhere early.
A lot of fast kids want to go to BYU.
