Flugaur update ….
A few quick updates from GF’s show that just ended. And other sources as well:

During his YouTube live show, the University of Colorado posted yet another executive board meeting. June 6th. In 5 days. He put it on the screen. He added that a public vote could be done in nanoseconds. Zoom. Whatever. However. Once CO requests an application to join the Big 12, the commotion begins. The press goes into a feeding frenzy. Until then, Act 12 continues mostly behind closed media access.

Also, while he was chatting with a caller… “new intel”, as he described it, popped up in his email. It had to do with Utah. And of course, Greg described it by utilizing his metaphor/analogy approach of the theatre, the play, the stage, etc.

He said he had permission to share now, that for the first time, Utah has entered the building. They are now in the foyer, near concessions, looking and listening intently to what is happening inside. UConn is still on row 38. ASU row 15. Oregon and Washington and the Fox executive still on row one. Colorado still center stage with Arizona 2 arm lengths away. The B1G commissioner still at the very end of row 1. Watching.

He still promises to reveal the specifics of what happened on May 7th, 24th, & 31st.

The 7th was the severe blow to the P12 solar plexus. “It didn’t happen in Colorado. It didn’t happen in Texas. It didn’t happen in any B12 or P12 state.”

It happened in a Midwest city. Still unnamed. (I have no idea 🤷🏻‍♂️). But he will tell the details.

The 24th unique event occurred in Boulder. The 31st-yesterday-was a twin brother event to the 24th but not in Boulder.

At this point, when added to all other national reporting, it seems like Colorado is 98% into the B12. “It’s absolutely a money thing. Colorado has given the P12 every available opportunity to persuade them to stay. But there is still no deal.”

It only follows, then, that dominoes will begin to tumble. A caller asked him, “If Colorado bails, how long will Arizona have to make a decision?”

“It won’t be an issue”, he replied with confidence. Sooner. Not later.

The Oklahoma AD, currently attending the B12 meetings in WV, obviously in some rooms but not in others, told a reporter that “they are discussing expansion.”

The mostly clean and clear picture, as it seems to appear?

The money just isn’t there for a suitable P12 media deal. Does that mean that any P12 schools want to go to the B12? No. Not really. But wants and needs are 2 different issues. It only makes sense that even Utah is covering all bases. To not do so would be terribly irresponsible. Due diligence, when it comes to multi-million dollar 💵 investments, is mandatory for all leaders. Duh.

One caller from Oregon asked Greg about ASU receiving AAU status today, from a board where the chairman is Carolyn Folt (USC). He feared USC doing an end-around to potentially keep Oregon out of the B1G. Replacing them with Arizona State.

Flugaur scoffed at that a little, reminding the caller that Fox Sports is heavily invested in wanting Oregon in the B1G.

Lots of rumors. Lots of takes. But if GF is accurate with his sourced information, it sounds like Utah could be battling UConn for the 16th spot. And likely winning, if they want it.

The P12 president & AD comments from months ago, pledges to remain united and confident in a prosperous PAC future, have dissipated & disappeared. It’s money time. According to GF, Utah has rounded the corner, come up the street, looked through the windows and is now inside. Makes sense.

SDSU still peeking through binoculars. They have to be crestfallen. So close…….
