Comments from a Texas and WVU fan say there were extra rumblings heard this morning in the college basketball realm of the Big 12. Rumor is UCONN will get an invite and accept today. Also mentions the calls with Colorado, Arizona, Gonzaga, and Memphis over the last day about solidifying the conference as the best in college basketball.

I agree with Yormark that college basketball will continue to grow and get closer to the interest of college football soon enough, but I’m not sure I want any of those teams in the league except for UofA and maybe Colorado. No on the Zags and UCONN at least until the next round of media rights are discussed in 2031. And always a hard no on Memphis
