Texas scars, family loyalty, & Yormark
A lot of CBers, among others, appreciate Flugaur and his efforts to communicate college football "happenings". I enjoyed your comments today.

The other side of the aisle assumes he's a know-nothing troll, looking for clicks and followers.

Fine. I unabashedly admit I trust the guy. Nevertheless, consider the following (warning...strong opinions lurking):

He's a Minnesota fan. A Big Ten guy. He has no pony in a B12-P12 race. So why is he so confident? Because his sources are confident. He obviously trusts them.

Colorado is leaving the P12. It will happen. Act 12 is real. They are on stage ready to shake & bake. When? Doesn't matter. It's happening. Andrew Marchand has media sources. Others have university sources. It all works together in quiet whispers. Getting louder on and off stage. You'll notice the PAC homers have moved from "Nobody is leaving to join the truck stop conference" to "Losing Colorado isn't a big deal. We'll just plug in SDSU."

UConn.... Is Yormark using them as leverage? Highly doubtful. The B12 commissioner loves NY. UConn is down the road from ESPN headquarters. They have 5 titles in men's hoops. The women dominate. Yormark, according to many, plays chess while the competition plays checkers. He looks forward. Into the future. Clearly he sees potential in football too. Patience. And perhaps a willingness to help UConn grow into something much bigger on the gridiron? Power 5 money is significantly helpful.

Yormark is also the leader of 8 universities who have been beaten and abandoned by former spouses. Unity is important. Loyalty. If any potential expansion candidate looks or smells like Texas....they will not be invited. Arrogance not welcomed. Certainly the B12 office & the leaders are aware of negative comments from a few P12 schools. As such....I'm thinking if Colorado and Arizona want to come, they will be welcomed. Utah and Arizona State? Not necessarily. No guarantees even if they formally apply.

The new B12 family wants like-minded schools and fan bases. They see an opportunity to seize this moment to strengthen with good schools, additive sure, but definitely with good attitudes. Family. No prima donnas. Recall Washington alum's Brock Huard's comments. He attended both the P12 & B12 events in Phoenix. He said there was a palpable energy, enthusiasm on the B12 side. The presidents & Yormark will not jeopardize all this positive momentum with egomaniacs.

Why does Flugaur have ASU on row 15 and Utah in the foyer? Because they aren't Colorado and Arizona. They still seem reluctant, hesitant.... even knowing the P12 house is on shaky ground. They don't want to let go. The Buffs and Cats are ready to roll. Soon. Definitely Colorado.

Yormark is shrewd. But even the best businessman in the world wants loyalty. GF has UConn sitting quietly on row 38. Observing. Humble. Ready to jump, most likely, if invited.

Remember when BYU was passed over for TCU & WV? Some of the narrative, true or not, was BYU is difficult to work with. That was probably overplayed though I'm sure there could have been a representative or two who turned off the B12.

I don't like any "BYU is the best brand" talk. Drives me crazy. Just remain humble and compete. Continue giving away ice cream to visitors 😂.....and shut up.

The Texas scars are real. Both Utah and ASU would be wise to never wear burnt orange. Figuratively or otherwise.

Invitations and life boats will not haphazardly be thrown into the waters. They will be offered to additive candidates, humble candidates, those looking to unite with Texas Tech and Baylor, not ridicule them in any way.

Loyalty. Family. A brilliant commissioner. It's an excellent recipe for future success.

Flugaur has offered a peek. Believe if you want. Scoff if y'all prefer. Doesn't matter what any of us think. The commissioner and presidents will decide this. Not Wilner. Not Harlan. Not Dennis Dodd or the lovable cloak & dagger guy.

But it's happening 💪🏻...
