BYU football has an amazing opportunity ahead of it. Every P5 conference, over the years, has had great programs that make up the conference. With those teams, typically a couple rise to the top. They get the limelight, they get the exposure, the players etc.

SEC- Alabama and Georgia
B1G- Ohio State and Michigan
Big XII- Oklahoma and Texas
Pac 12- USC and UCLA

Guys, this is a tremendous opportunity sitting right in front of us. Just look at the chaos with USC/UCLA leaving. The Big XII couldn't be in a better position, and BYU specifically in a better position to REALLY take off and go GLOBAL. I know we already are a global brand, but I mean legit go global! There are great programs in the Big XII, Oklahoma St has been super consistent the last 5 yrs. Kansas and K-State looking solid, TCU recent national title game, BUT, who will shake out once Oklahoma and Texas are gone?

What we do in the next 5 yrs in the Big XII can literally change everything for BYU sports. We can become THAT global name like Oklahoma, ND, Alabama, Ohio St, etc. There is a vacuum for the top 1-2 teams in the Big XII, it is our time to rise to the top. Let's go in as an underdog this year and supersede the expectations, get to a bowl game, win and keep the momentum building. We can become THAT team and brand. We have the cache, we have the global fans, now we gotta seize the conference! We can be the team, that kids immediately think of when they hear Big XII football.

Not gonna be easy, but the door is open. Let's go!!
