Is exactly what I would do to make foreign governments question whether or not the US developed it and go on a fruitless hunt for their own extraterrestrial tech.
As you mentioned, this feels too contrived. Until they actually release the evidence…I’m sticking with the belief that this is a misinformation campaign designed to cloak what DARPA is really developing.

Yes, it all makes sense now, we are at war with the aliens. I was skeptical before, but this just connects so many dots.
