Good Evening CB! Thanks so much to everyone who reached out to offer tickets for my friend Melvin who flew out from Georgia this weekend. It meant a lot to me and also to Melvin. We ended up finding some great seats next to a CBer who also served in my mission in Atlanta. Here's your report of how it went. Melvin flew in Friday and we went straight from the airport to the pre-game tailgate. He was in heaven inside the Cougar Club tent with a variety of food. He was just in awe the entire time and soaked up every second of the game even though he was exhausted. He insisted on bringing home any BYU-related souvenir he could including the plate with the BYU logo on it from the tailgate. Let's just say we have a new lifelong BYU fan in Macon Georgia. Such an incredible experience. Also huge shoutout to the couple of people who venmo'd me to buy him some merch. He got a shirt and a keychain. It was a great conference weekend and he enjoyed watching the conference in person big time. Huge shout out to CB and Cougar Nation, he kept commenting on how nice everyone was and also how there are no black people in Utah haha. I know we ran into several of you all that night and he loved getting to know you. Go Cougs!
