Well utah will pay more. Recruiting is easier. The administration is committed
to winning in football. He spent a lot of years there. It's reasonable to say that could be a better job if he were interested.

POLL: If Scalley goes to USC, does KWhitt coach at Utah next year?
HarlemCoug
I should know better
Nov 20, 11:43pm
Whitt would only try to block one of his coaches from going to BYU

He comes and takes Hill

And there is the usual CB inferiority complex raising its ugly head once again. smh

Scalley is making $1.4 million a year. Do you think Hill is making close to that? If Hill was offered a $400k-$500k pay

and you all seem to think that BYU can't afford to pay their coaches. Besides being in kwhitt's shadow as a DC doesn't

In this hypothetical scenario, Scalley would have just taken the USC job

Your assumptions. They also had the chance to promote him when he was there and didn't so ...

Lol. Those are all reasons I would take a job.

Maybe but you assume they're facts. Doubt they are though. Don't forget ...

Sione coached at Utah and then either retired or was asked to retire after 2021.

and maybe he just didn't like coaching there? Maybe money isn't everything like some seem to think.

It’s not inferiority. He’s an Utah Alum.
