Nationally he's ranked...
33rd in Pass Efficiency (148 (Hoover, Sanders, and Fifita are higher)
ESPN QBR Rating: Retzlaff is at 35th with a rating of 70.5 (Robertson, Sorsby, Greene (WV), Sanders, Johnson, Hoover, are all ahead of him in this metric. Quick word on this metric. The fact that all of these QBs are ahead of him in this rating causes me to think that this metric is flawed.
Jake is 33rd in Yards per attempt at 8.2...Genreally speaking anyone with over 8 YPA is considered elite.
Conclusions. Jake is right on the cut line between the first and second quartile. What is remarkable to me is how much he has improved this season over the 4 games he played in last season. I'lll be honest, I did not have a ton of faith in him improving this much this fast. And considering the relatively soft schedule the rest of the way, and the return of full health of the RBs, I expect all of these stats to tick upwad the rest of the season.
