In Big 12 play, the most combined points scored has been 46 (when Cam Rising played vs ASU) with three of the five games having a combined score of 33 or less (Arizona 33, TCU 20, Houston 31).
With such low scoring games a single play can be critical (a 4th down stop, a big kick return, a missed FG, a defensive TD, etc). I think that even one forced turnover in this game could be the difference between winning and losing (like Utah's late interception to set up Houston's game winning FG).
