That was a rough one. That's a very bad GameScore for the team. Only the Providence and Houston GameScores were worse for the team. Incredible shooting by Cincy. Cincy shot a TS% of 37.8% in the MC. Quite the contrast compared to today's game. A rebound% of 34.7% for BYU is not good. Only 17 total rebounds for the Cougs.

I'm not sure how Richie had a -35 for the game. He must have only been in the game when Cincy went on runs. I felt like he kept us in the game in the 1st half and he also had the highest GameScore for the team. +/- doesn't tell the whole story but it's an interesting stat (on the bad side) for Richie today.

Jizzle was on one today. The game started out with BYU going under the screens which meant they didn't mind having Jizzle shoot it. And most games that's a good game plan. But once he got going, he wasn't going to stop. BYU changed up their D on him but it was too late.

I liked what Boskovic brought to the team. Bandaogo was used to Keita and Fouss rolling to the rim on screens and Bosko popped out. He's a nice change of pace for the big guys. It's hard to find him minutes and he's not a great rebounder but maybe he gets a little time just to change things up. We shall see.

Bright spot for BYU - 8 of 11 from the FT line.

BYU needs to get both of those games next week.
